ICSC Reports on the "Halo Effect"
One of the key findings from ICSCs report "The Halo Effect - How Bricks Impact Clicks", was that opening one new physical store in a market results in an average 37 percent increase in overall traffic to that retailer’s website. A 2019 analysis "Quantifying the Impact of Omnichannel", shows how retailers capture additional sales through halo events and why physical stores play a critical role in those efforts.
