Join us for a 2-day exploration of Paris! We will start off with lunch in the Champs Elysée District followed by an introduction to Paris' vibrant retail scene by Jack Stratten at Insider Trends. During the afternoon he will lead us on a retail safari around Paris where we will explore the development of commercial spaces and how progressive brands and landlords are responding to the changing consumer landscape. The following day we will get a guided tour of Ingka Centres new development Place d’Italie, one of Paris’ largest and most dominant innercity shopping destinations. After lunch we will finish with a visit to Westfield Forum des Halles, another example of a well intregrated mixed-use establishment.
The tour is limited to 30 participants - first come first serve!

Members: €600 / Non-members: €900
Includes 2 lunches, welcome drink and recap session, retail safari by Insider Trends and guided tour of Place d’Italie. Travel to/from Paris, hotel and dinner is not included and need to be booked by each participant. We suggest to stay at or nearby the Pley Hotel. Rates from €168 pp/night. Prices are excluding VAT. Registration is binding but can be transferred to a different person. Program is subject to change.

We will meet up for lunch at Lily Wood to sample the French cuisine. The restaurant is located in the Champs Elysée District about 10-minute walk from the Pley Hotel.

After lunch we will take a short walk to the Pley Hotel where we will get an introduction to Paris' latest retail scene by Jack Stratten and Belinda Godliman Picaud who will lead us on our retail safari.
As Head of Trends, Jack has provides insights and strategic support for some of the biggest retailers on the planet, from NIKE to Walmart, Microsoft, Nespresso, and Coca-Cola. Belinda is a senior retail consultant and designer based in Paris for over a decade.

On our retail safari we will explore new innovations and get an insight into how progressive brands are responding to the changing consumer landscape. The tour will cover destinations such as Kith Flagship store, Uniqlo Opera, Patrick Roger Chocolatier, Dior Avenue Montaigne and Printemps.
We'll stop for coffee en route at one of the citys hot-spots cafés and end up back at the hotel.Kith Flagship Paris

We will gather at the hotel bar to recap what we have seen during the day together with Jack and Belinda. This is an excellent way to share experiences and to ask all of those questions you forgot to ask;)

Italie Deux together with the recent high-street extension ItaliK, and the neighbouring office complex Apollo is of one of Paris’ largest and most dominant inner-city shopping destinations. All three assets will be united into Ingka Centres’ first urban meeting place in France where sustainability will be at the forefront with an ambition to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2030.

Originally, Les Halles was the central covered market of Paris. The architecture has evolved since then, but the dynamic remains intact. Today it houses the district's main shopping center Westfield Forum des Halles which extends underground and is surrounded by international restaurants, beautiful churches and the old trade exchange. Nearby is the famous Rivoli shopping street which follows the Seine.

Tour ends and you are free to explore the area around Les Halles and Marais and transfer back to the hotel at your own pace. We strongly encourage a visit to the iconic and newly restored Samaritaine department store. It offers more than 20,000 square meters with over 600 avant-garde brands from the worlds of fashion, watchmaking and jewelry, as well as the largest beauty space in Europe.Samaritaine
