The following day we will visit the newly developed Carlsberg Byen – winner of World's Best Masterplan 2009!

We will get the stories behind exciting projects across the Nordics including The Barcode District in Olso, Jumbo-Flamingo in Helsinki, Fisketorvet, the newly opened IKEA Copenhagen and more. Further we will listen to how successful Nordic brands such as Norrøna, Lager 157 and Normal are planning their retail expansions in and beyond the Nordics.

The Carlsberg City District is a vibrant neighborhood on a historical ground in the middle of Copenhagen where people live, work, hang out, cycle through, do their shopping, have a coffee, go to school and take a walk. Here, shops are next to offices, and housing is next to educational and day care institutions. We will get a presentation and guided tour by Ole Stensbjerg, Partner and Strategic Advisor at FM Bygningsdrift who has been in charge of development logistics on the site.
